Disliked:
The bathrooms were an issue. You should get showers where you can regulate hot and cold water temperature and with a better water exit system, so it don´t accumulate on the sink, shower, etc.

Disliked:
The hostel wasn't clean at all; I haven't ever in my life slept in a bed as dirty as this. The bed sheets looked as if they had been used at least by 3 other people; was disgusting, found multiple hairs in the 'fresh' linen. Nevertheless staff is very kind but lazy.

Location is great and to be honest the hostel is pretty safe.

Disliked:
First day my friend and i arrived, we had to wait forever to check-in and they had some issues with our booking. Couldn't put us in the same room for days. Then we had to change rooms 3 times the same week.

I was skeptical about staying at backpackers to begin with. However, after my stay here I would stay again in a heartbeat! Our 6 bed dorm was cheap, had everything we needed, was kept clean and was comfortable. Location was perfect.

The only issue I had was with noisy roommates but that’s not the hostel's fault. Beds are little squeaky but that is it!

I came for the sales season in Madrid, since it is very cheap and it has a great location near all the major stores I stayed here.

Disliked:
there was this girl who kept singing the whole time she was here and she did not have a nice voice, it was terrible actually.

In all of my travels through Europe (which includes 4 other cities), this is my favorite hostel by far! The staff is amazingly friendly, we had such a geat time and felt welcome the entire time we were there! They definiely have it figured out when it comes to hostels, if you want to meet some fantastic people and have a good time, stay in this one!

You have to pay cash so keep that in mind. Simple rooms, friendly staff, but no breakfast included. It's not expensive at all and I would recommend staying here.

It was exactly what I expected for the price. Very average - nothing impressive but nothing to complain about either. The staff is rarely around but are helpful enough when they are. Bathrooms could be improved, but they were The most important thing though - the location is amazing!! Minutes away from the center and close to everywhere. Overall a pleasant weekend stay. =)

The check-in time was too late. I wish it was at around 12 so we can at least go around Madrid in the afternoon - we had to wait until 2 pm just to settle in. Other than that, I really enjoyed staying there: rooms not very dark. No palace, but otherwise very correct for the price. Very near to town center.

The location was good in terms of metro stations nearby... Only, sometime, if you require a temporary facility for storing your luggage until your late evening onward travels, there is no such facility there Everything else was top, I would definitely return here

This hostel was a pleasant surprise. The staff was cheerful and helpful, There was always someone there who spoke English and they were well informed. The kitchen preparation area was small but more than enough. Our room was simple, uncluttered and had plenty of space.
